NFTMO Awards for Achievement in the TMO sector. The awards are designed to celebrate success in the sector and offer good practice and learning opportunities. If you want to know more about any of the winning entries let us know. Winners were in the following categories:
For
Outstanding Housing Management Performance: Sponsored by Anthony Collins Solicitors nominees were expected to
evidence outstanding performance in one or more housing management functions in
comparison with other TMOs and/or the landlord and/or best performing social housing
providers ... and the winners were Childwall Valley EMB from Liverpool Supporting
the Community & going the extra mile: Also sponored by Anthony Collins Solicitors the nominees in this category were expected to demonstrate good
practice in activities such as: enabling or encouraging the participation of
people living in the TMO area; providing support to particular groups within
the community; bringing the community together and/or just going that little
bit further than usual or expected to improve the quality of life for local
people... and the winners were Browning EMA from the London Borough of Southwark For
Outstanding work with Young People: Sponsored by the Wrekin Housing Trust nominees were expected to
demonstrate success and good practice in their work to engage with children and
/ or young people in the TMO area.... and the winners were Friday Hill TMO from Chingford
For
Effective Partnership Working: The third category sponsored by Anthony Collins Solicitors, the nominees were expected to evidence how
the TMO had worked with a partner organisation or organisations in an effective
way to improve services, provide innovative solutions or achieve more for the
community generally ... the winner was Leathermarket JMB from the London Borough of Southwark
For
impressive support to TMOs: Sponsored by NFTMO the nominees
were expected to demonstrate that they offered positive support to TMOs. As
a landlord supporting TMOs that manage their housing stock or, alternatively, as an advisor, trainer or key partner ... our winner was the Tenant Management Team at the London Borough of Southwark
To an
individual for being a Good Neighbour: was the second category sponsored by the Wrekin Housing Trust and nominations were invited, from TMOs, of individuals living within their
communities who had been outstanding in their voluntary efforts on behalf of
neighbours and other residents...the winner was Molly Sinclair of the Roupell Park Estate.
